21H00 – Ana Maria Dias – (Escola João Roiz-Castelo Branco) – Astronomy and Art: The realities of everyday life can be understood – also – through art. Painting and music, for example, are means through which one can perceive the sea, the undulate of trees exposed to the wind or … the sky!
This communication will show several examples of how some artists have interpreted and represented the sky, on different times and in different parts of the globe.

22H00 – Máximo Ferreira – (Centro Ciência Viva de Constância – Astronomy Park) – Observing the sky with the naked eye, with the identification of some stars and constellations; use of telescopes to observe Venus, Mars, Moon, star clusters, nebulae and galaxies.
